Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Rodeo, a web-based platform provided by MCJ Ventures LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have - whether you use Rodeo as a creator or as a brand.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, password, and - depending on whether you sign up as a creator or a brand - details like your social media handles, follower counts, niche, business name, or website.

Content and communications. When you use Rodeo to apply to campaigns, pitch brands, or message between creators and brands, we collect the content of those communications and submissions.

Payment information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number - Stripe handles that directly and shares with us only what we need to manage your subscription (such as plan status and billing history).

Usage data. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including the pages you visit, the features you use, the actions you take, and device/browser information, generally through the analytics tools listed in Section 4.

SMS/text opt-in data. If you opt in to receive text messages from us, your phone number and consent status are collected solely to send you those messages. This category of information is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. How We Use Information

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Service - including matching creators with brand campaigns and vice versa.
  • To process payments and manage subscriptions.
  • To send you emails about your account, campaigns, payouts, and Service updates.
  • To analyze trends, monitor the effectiveness of the Service, and understand how people use Rodeo.
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues.

4. Cookies, Analytics & Advertising Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and understand how it's used. The tools we currently use include:

  • Google Analytics - aggregate usage and traffic analytics.
  • Microsoft Clarity - session behavior analytics (e.g. scroll/click patterns).
  • Mixpanel - product usage and event analytics.
  • Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel - measures the effectiveness of our advertising and, where you've consented, helps us show relevant ads.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how parts of the Service function.

5. How We Share Information

  • Between creators and brands. If you're a creator, the information in your application or pitch (and the content of messages you send) is shared with the brand you're applying to or messaging - and vice versa.
  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who help us run the Service, including Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email delivery), and the analytics providers listed in Section 4. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us.
  • Legal compliance. We may disclose information if required by law, or in a good-faith belief that doing so is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, protect our rights, or enforce our Terms of Service.
  • Business transfers. If we're involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account deletion where required by law, to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records related to payments).

7. Your Choices and Rights

  • Access and update. You can access and update most of your account information directly in the Service.
  • Deletion. You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at collab@withrodeo.com. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
  • Marketing emails. You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link included in those emails.
  • State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, such as the right to know what information we hold about you or to request its deletion. You can exercise these rights by contacting us using the details in Section 10.

8. Children's Privacy

Rodeo is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
